The Allianz Arena in Munich has hosted countless world-class matches since its opening in 2005. Few people know that MAURER plays a role here too — albeit an invisible one.
If you visit Munich in summer, it is hard to miss this landmark in the north of the city. With a capacity of 75,000 football fans, it is one of the most visited arenas in Europe.
MAURER's Role in the Stadium Structure
The entire roof structure rests on 96 MAURER MSM® spherical bearings. They carry enormous loads, allow the necessary movements, and guarantee that this architectural marvel will remain safe and stable for decades to come.
96 MSM® spherical bearings — an invisible yet critical part of one of the world's most iconic stadiums.
